You
can help ensure that diverse family
forests are a part of our future
in protecting our environment,
economy, communities and culture
by supporting Family Forests of
Oregon.
Family
Forests of Oregon was launched
in 2005 thanks to help from our
supporters and volunteers.
We
have come together to address
the issues that affect the complex
connection between the land, family
forest land owners and society.
In
2006 with our partner OSWA we hope to launch our Forest
Neighbors project. The family
owners will tell their stories
in their own words, giving us
insight into the motivations for
continuing to own family forest
land.
In 2007, We also worked with OSWA to offer a new set of outreach programs that brought woodland owners and others together to help plan and shape the future of our family woodlands. We are looking to continue these grass roots efforts in 2008.
A
donation to Family Forests of
Oregon can be tax deductible and
is an investment in our family
forests and our communities. Family
Forests of Oregon is a non-profit
501(c)3 organization that operates
on the generous donations of private
foundations, corporations, government
agencies, and citizens.
